Yes I thought about that but if you can find a way to have a photograph transferred to canvas quickly it could work.
I think for this to be really visually impacting in a gallery the two images have to be as close as possible. You could use photo-realistic painting but it's a lengthy process. A painter would have to work alongside you closely.
I do really like this idea. I think it would look great and make people really think about what you're exploring.
Have you decided on the sculpture yet? What will it be?
